Former Florida Department of Health Program Manager Chrystal McDonald Joins Progressive Care Board of Advisors to Head HIV/AIDS Action Committee. - Life Science Weekly

Progressive Care, Inc. (OTCBB: RXMD) and its subsidiary PharmCo, LLC, a provider of prescription pharmaceuticals, specializing in anti-viral patient management, long term care and home medical equipment, announced that former Florida Department of Health Program Manager Chrystal McDonald has joined the Company's Board of Advisors to spearhead PharmCo's newly formed HIV/AIDS Action Committee. Under McDonald's leadership, the Committee will work to establish PharmCo as a leader in fighting and treating HIV/AIDS through education, communication, and specialized long term treatment.

Ms. McDonald joins Progressive Care, Inc. after 30 years of experience at Florida's Miami-Dade County Health Department, an epicenter of the HIV/AIDS battle. Ms. McDonald's tenure on the front lines included work with afflicted individuals as a Health Service Representative, as well as a Human Services Program Specialist, Consultant, and Manager. Ms. McDonald's leadership included work with the National Institute of Health youth campaign, the creation of the 'Liberty City HIV/AIDS Initiative' and the 'Hope Alliance HIV Initiative.'

Progressive Care CEO Avraham Friedman stated, 'We are honored and excited to be adding such a distinguished and respected member of Florida's HIV medical community to our team, and we look forward to supporting Ms. McDonald in her leadership of our HIV/AIDS Action Committee as we grow our PharmCo business unit.'

As head of PharmCo's HIV/AIDS Action Committee, Ms. McDonald will begin to implement the committee's strategic plan which includes: Overseeing the establishment of PharmCo as an AIDS Drug Assistant Program (ADAP) enrollment center. Overseeing PharmCo's approval as an HIV Counseling & Testing Site. Establishing procedures for training and staffing certified HIV testing counselors including HIV 500 and AIDS 501. Organizing and hosting HIV health workshops and fairs through a proprietary network of hospitals, physicians, and health officials.

Upon concluding her first meeting as head of PharmCo's HIV/AIDS Action Committee, Ms. McDonald stated, 'I am very excited about joining a dedicated team of professionals. I'm looking forward to assisting Progressive Care and PharmCo with making healthier communities. Greater things are yet to be done in South Florida!'
